Issue

When you attempt to save a Word (or other Office) Document to any of these destinations you’ll receive a prompt asking you to put in your credentials and a message saying Upload Blocked

In OneNote your notebooks will say that they require a password to sync.

 

Work-Around / Fix

If you are working with OneNote or files saved to your OneDrive you can close these prompts and continue to work as copies of the documents will be saved to your laptop.

Once the services are back online your files will resync and these prompts will disappear.

Updates

  • 9:30am - Issue was identified by Brigidine IT to be affecting users at the College.
  • 9:30am - Microsoft advise that they are working on the issue and is at 51% complete
  • 11:15am - No change in status, issue confirmed to be affecting other Schools too
  • 1:21pm - Microsoft advise that they are still working on it and preparing to rollback a change that was made that has caused the issue.
  • 2:51pm - Other schools reporting that the issue appears to be resolve
  • 2:51pm - Brigidine IT testing indicates that the issue appears to be resolved for Brigidine too
